Audiences have come to know and love our Broadway Unplugged series. You know these as one-night events where the very talented (and handsome) Bryan Perri, ACT of CT resident music supervisor, brings one of his Broadway celebrity friends to ACT of CT for an evening of song, storytelling and fun.

This special event will be held on Monday, September 11, 2023. You are invited to a pre-show sit-down dinner in the lobby of ACT of CT catered by Raffaele Gallo complete with an open bar. You will then enter the auditorium for the performance with Bryan and his Broadway Special Guest TBD (but you know whoever Bryan brings will be fabulous!!). Desserts will be provided by Katie Diamond of Katie's Intoxikating Kakes. Don't Miss Out!

This glorious package includes eight tickets to see our ACT of Connecticut production of THE SECRET GARDEN on Sunday May 21 at 2pm. This exclusive "INVITED DRESS" is the final rehearsal which is performed the day before the show officially opens and is seen by the public for the first time. This auction item includes a private reception in the ACT of CT lobby with wine and beer and hors d'oeuvres for your 25 guests one hour before the final dress begins. You will have an opportunity to ask the show's director, music director and cast members any questions that you might have about the "process" in a special meet and greet, and then (of course) you will have an exclusive and private performance of the entire show - the day before the show's official opening night. You also get to choose which show in the mainstage season you would like to attend!

The cast and creative team have just been announced and we, at ACT of Connecticut, are thrilled for our very own, Colby Kipnes who will make her Broadway debut as Squirrel! Colby will join a star-studded cast including Laurie Metcalf, Tatiana Maslany, Paul Sparks, Sophia Anne Caruso and Millicent Simmonds. Colby has been a part of ACT of CT's educational programs and mainstage productions since the very beginning!

This first of its kind Broadway experience directed by Joe Montello is being called a "savvy, smart new play-that just happens to be legitimately terrifying" (Chicago Tribune).
